San juancito
The Church in San Juancito was begun after outreach from Hurricane Mitch in 1998, with the first Church service there in July 1999. After using a borrowed building to meet in for many years, through some help from the mission and donors in the US, the Church did almost all the physical work to get this building done in 2009.
Pastor Lito and his wife both work full time, but also invest quite a bit of time in the life of the church as well. On a day to day basis then, this church is our first that is financially independent of the mission to keep things going and growing. |

Sampedrana
We began outreach in Sampedrana after a brother in the Church from Teguc noticed the overwhelming need there when visiting with a governmental construction project. July 2002 was our first visit, and instantly we knew this was an area of incredible physical and spiritual need. People were dying from lack of food, and many did not know what it meant "to pray."
In 2007 through the help of a Church in the US that was touched with the need the mission planted the Church, April 15th to be exact. From a first Church service in the living room...the Church is now in a new building they built themselves. The Church participates in soccer ministry through a pitch built in the community, and is the home of where Hill Climber coffee was born. |

cantaranas
This community is less than a half hour from San Juancito, and the desire of the Church there to reach more people eventually led to planting a Church here in 2008.
Pastor Jonathan is originally from San Juancito, and now pastors here full time, along with helping a new church plant in Guayavillas that started in 2021. |

talanga
This work began in 2009 and has seen many ups and downs since then in the work, but we continue to move forward in Christ to see the people there reached for Him.
Looking for ways to help make the work more financially independent, in 2010 His Eyes acquired a local TV station, Channel 15, and turned it into a Christian station! It is a long road to get it where it needs to be, but is yet another beacon of God's light to this community...and many other surrounding communities. This Church also has another church 1/2 hour away in Los Trozos that we are trying to nurture and get on its own as well. |

Las Botijas
This Church started via our Hill Climber Coffee farming in this community after taking over an existing work from other missionaries. In 2018 when we had a new farm manager from Sampedrana move to take things over, his family meeting and praising God attracted others in the community to want to know more, and a Church was born!
Rony and his family are working there, and we are looking forward to what God will continue to grow in this area, and not just coffee! |

Danli
The church in Danli was not one His Eyes had planned, but came about through God's calling on pastor Edwin, who has ministered here for over ten years, and trying to help him .
In 2020 God opened doors and made it clear that we should support the church there in buying property with two make shift buildings (a house and meeting space), and find ways to try to financially support on a limited basis Edwin as he continues the Lord's work there. We are excited for what God will continue to do in this community and beyond! |
