Clinic

​The clinic work began in 1994 under the administration of Tom and Carol Jeffries with the help of FAME (www.fameworld.org)  

The clinic has undergone several expansions since then, and God continues to add to the areas of service provided...from general medicine and optometry, to dentistry, OBGYN, laboratory, pediatrics, and hopefully more to come in the future.  

The focus is on providing quality medical care that would otherwise not be affordable, care that often is not close at hand.  We see patients who live close to the clinic, and often patients who come from a great distance.  

All the staff is Honduran except for our staff optometrist, Dr. Valerie Colby, who is from the USA.  Over the past few years she has trained other medical professionals to also do optometry.

We are actively working on adding an ambulatory surgical wing to the clinic, and have also acquired property outside Tegucigalpa, to explore building a surgical center that would provide even greater healing opportunities, as well as spiritual outreach to so many around Honduras that have great physical and spiritual needs.
