Sample Trip Itinirary
Saturday
Arrive, usually 12:00PM-3:00PM, tour campus, break down supplies, supper and early bed after a long tiring travel day.
Sunday
Church AM with one of the His Eyes churches. On the way back to town, a grocery store supply for snacks for the week
Monday
Construction on the mission campus or one of the churches or farms
Tuesday
More construction, either o the campus or a rural church site, or possibly another Milk Project or clothing day.
Wednesday
Rural clothing distribution with group led VBS activities
Thursday
Working all day with The Milk Project, with more VBS activities (lesson, songs, crafts, games)
Friday
Children’s hospital visit AM* (with toys/gifts for the children and possibly health items for parents) and souvenir shopping in the afternoon.
Saturday
Time to pack everything up, debrief to prepare for return, and get to the airport early!
*depending on the frequency of groups and visits, we alternate some groups visiting the hospital and some doing home visits with the Milk Project families in Tegucigalpa
